Event Description:
The Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce celebrates and supports women in leadership roles who are trailblazers in their industries. This year, the FWHCC implemented a program called “Women in Leadership”, hosting panel events featuring women who hold roles that are crucial to the success of our economy. These events are designed for our entire membership and community to offer insight to this fast-growing leadership demographic. These panel events afford participants (both male and female) a closer, more personal opportunity to learn from accomplished women in our community.
The "Women in Technology" breakfast panel event will highlight women who hold roles in technology-related industries at prominent corporations in our community. These women will share lessons learned and offer participants an opportunity to seek advice about working in a male-dominated field.
Our featured panelists will be:
Elisa Salazar, Consulting Systems Engineer at BNSF Railway
Cheryle Hayes, Coordinator of Special Projects at Tarrant County College District
Denise McKnight, Director of IT, Bell Helicopter Textron
Lorena Loucel, Senior Project Engineer at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company
Moderated by: MaryAnn Means-Dufrene, Market President at Dale Carnegie
