General Description:
Under the direction of the Construction Manager, the Construction Coordinator is an agency Problem Solver.  Broadly speaking he or she has responsibility for managing continuous, critical and significant tasks and projects which support the overall productivity of the Construction Department. 
 
Problem Solvers are the foundation of the agency.  They efficiently handle a multitude of critical and required tasks that support the function of the Agency Team and our various programs. Problem Solvers are empowered to solve problems.  They do not look to their supervisor to come up with solutions. They ensure that important details do not slip through the cracks, are incredibly well organized, make the agency look professional and facilitate excellent audits, among many other things. Problem Solvers look to AI to create efficiency and excellence!

Job Conditions…
Position is full-time (40 hours a week) and works Monday through Friday. Office hours are 7:00am - 3:30pm flexible with supervisor approval. Hours switch to Tuesday through Saturday in the Fall and Spring. Evening and weekend work is required. It is a non-exempt position. General Responsibilities…

Specific Responsibilities:
  1. Building in accordance to the house plans, elevations, and city codes. Changes to the exterior details require the Executive Director’s approval.  Changes to interior must be approved by the Senior Director of Construction.
  2. Support Cornerstone and volunteers as you adhere, to the best of your ability, to the sponsor Build Schedules
  3. Support construction staff in all areas related to the construction process, inspection process, site upkeep, and move in process for houses, just before they are occupied. 
  4. Adhere to grant compliance measures as required (CDBG, SHOP, Bootstraps, FHLB, etc…).
  5. And other duties as assigned
 
Misc:
  1. Be able to lift 75 lbs without issue
