Suppliers play a critical role in the success and growth of contractors—but too often, programs are designed aboutsuppliers without being designed with them.
The Supplier Strategy Roundtable is a focused, virtual conversation bringing together material suppliers, service providers, and industry partners to share insights on what they need from contractors to operate more efficiently, reduce risk, and support larger and more complex projects.
This roundtable is part of the Chamber’s Contractors Insider Initiative, a data-driven effort to strengthen contractor readiness and improve how contractors, suppliers, and procurement partners work together. Rather than launching new certifications or requirements without input, the Chamber is intentionally starting with supplier voices to ensure future programs align with real-world supply chain needs.
What Suppliers Will Gain
-
Early insight into contractor growth trends and upcoming project demand
-
An opportunity to influence contractor education and purchasing behavior
-
A chance to help shape future supplier-focused programs and partnerships
-
Stronger, more strategic relationships with contractors preparing to scale
-
Visibility as a supplier invested in building a healthier construction ecosystem
What We’ll Discuss
-
Common challenges suppliers face when working with contractors
-
Barriers related to credit, ordering, forecasting, and communication
-
What “procurement-ready” contractors do differently from a supplier perspective
-
How the Chamber can add value to existing supplier operations
This is not a sales pitch or a listening session. It is a collaborative working conversation designed to reduce friction, improve outcomes, and build a more predictable and resilient contractor–supplier pipeline.
Suppliers who participate will receive a post-event summary of key themes and next steps and will be invited to stay engaged as the Chamber translates insights into actionable programs.
