YouthBuild Start Moved to August 17th 2020.
Due to delays brought on by the COVID 19 pandemic the next YouthBuild start has been moved to August 17th 2020.
We want every cohort to have enough time to complete their studies and finish their build project. Our current group of young adults was forced to stay at home for weeks near the beginning of their
time here at YouthBuild and needs additional time to finish what they have begun in an earnest attempt to change their lives. We are going to give them that time by delaying the start of our next cohort.
We are expecting this August enrollment to be large, so please have your young adult register with us soon!
Registration times will continue to be held every Tuesday at 1pm and every Wednesday at 9am, here at our training facility @ 6220 Anglin Drive, Forest Hill, TX 76119.
Come join in the YouthBuild experience: Classroom fun getting ready to pass their GED, camaraderie while YouthBuild classmates serve together to helping those less fortunate by passing out boxes of food, working in community gardens, and building homes for low income families. This year each YouthBuild cohort will build its own Tiny Home in partnership with the Housing Channel. They will make sure a deserving family gets their own brand new home because of the great work of our YouthBuild students.
Advanced Manufacturing skills training is available after graduation from YouthBuild at no cost to the student followed by job placement. Get a second chance to start your live on a new pathway through YouthBuild!
