Financial Center HSA/ISD Quality Assurance Specialist- Fort Worth

Job Description

EECU is looking for a Financial Center - HSA/ISD & Quality Assurance Specialist who will work firsthand with the financial centers employees to ensure that EECU is providing best-in-class customer service on an on-going basis. This position performs a variety of monitoring of quality assurance reviews on new products and loan documentation submitted from financial centers.  

Key responsibilities for Quality Assurance Specialist:

-ensuring that all products/loan reviews follow all credit union procedures, regulations and completeness of documentation.  During the review, this position will accurately assess risks and controls through audits, observations, and reviews.  

-responsible for identifying systematic and/or procedural risks in areas of compliance, process adherence, EECU policies, and operational risks, and will escalate findings appropriately. 

-consider a broad range of issues and factors when analyzing complex issues and management in developing sustainable, member-focused action plans. 

-will communicate findings, at both the financial and retail management levels of the organization.

-have consistent task execution for the ISD administrators. Will oversee the onboarding of new ISDs, daily ticket submissions within the Freshdesk ticketing system, and ensuring a positive HSA experience for our new and existing ISD relationships. The ticketing system is not only for ISDs but also other departments within EECU. This position will ensure follow up to all submissions which may include tasks to accounting, member services, marketing, and branches. Additional duties will include creating user IDs for the contribution specialists in the ISDs Human Resources department, HSA user IDs, and providing instructions on how to process contributions to the ISDs. This position will be the main point of contact for the ISDs and will require assistance when and if the ISD encounters issues with onboarding or file submissions. 

-serve as an ongoing support and quality resource to the financial center employees, be available for questions, and lead one on 1 coaching sessions with the financial center employees.

- an initiative-taker, great communicator, highly adaptable, and have the confidence to handle a variety of challenges, while ensuring the success of the financial centers and ISD relationships. 

-Flexibility is key, as the role may occasionally require filling in at financial centers in person, assist members via video (teams), in the call center as needed.  

-The position will also open HSA/IRA accounts through our online channel.

Works under general supervision. 

Candidates for EECU should possess the following knowledge and experience:

  • One to two years of financial experience understanding all aspects of financial platform and operations
  • Strong leadership Skills
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Strong creative skills as well as keen ability to digest and utilize tracking information
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Ability to coach and mentor staff
  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • Ability to work extended hours and at times multiple locations with little to no notice as requested by management
  • Ability to utilize various levels of technology
  • College Degree preferred or 1-2 years financial experience preferred
  • Hours: Monday-Friday between 7:30am and 6pm, Saturdays- hours between 9am-2pm
  • EECU will, in compliance with applicable laws, evaluate an applicant's credit history. Only applicants with good credit history will be considered for open positions. If offered a position with EECU, will have to clear background check including employment, criminal, and drug screen. 

Responsible for compliance of all Federal and State rules and regulations pertaining but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Bribery Act, NCUA Privacy Regulations, Reg B, Reg Z, Service Members Civil Relief, and FCRA/FACTA. Required to attend initial and ongoing annual Bank Secrecy Act training.
