Essential Functions:  
 
To ensure Performing Arts Fort Worth (PAFW) achieves an optimal work environment and equitable treatment of all, employees are guided by two fundamental directives, the PAFW Operating Principles and the PAFW IDEA Statement, in addition to adhering to other terms and policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.
 
In addition to upholding to these fundamental directives, the Digital & E-commerce Marketing Manager fully supports the Programming & Engagement Management department and is responsible for overseeing all strategic, digital and E-commerce marketing/communications initiatives for the organization.
 
Responsibilities include website management, email marketing, overseeing analytics applications, ticketing system integrations and ensuring PAFW is utilizing current and emerging digital technologies.
 
Additional responsibilities include electronic content creation, search engine optimization for website, and implementation of mobile platform developments. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
 
Education, Experience & Skills Required:  
  • COVID-19 vaccination record card.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of five years of related experience.
  • Experience working in or with the arts or entertainment industry a plus.
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn these business applications: Tessitura, VenueOps, EpiServer CMS, Google Analytics, Wordfly email platform, Queue-It, Smart Seat.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google products, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, programs including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with high attention to details.
  • Ability to work well with a wide range of people and as part of a team.
  • Strong copywriting and proofing skills.
  • Advanced web strategy, development and HTML skills.
  • Strong understanding of digital analytics platforms and utilization.
  • Understanding and interest in emerging digital trends and email marketing and demonstrate ability to generate creative ideas for content across platforms.
Must maintain a positive attitude and influence others to do the same. Must make decisions consistent with organizational policies and goals and responsibly handle confidential information. Must work with accuracy and attention to numerous details and timelines. Strong verbal communication skills are essential to interact successfully with all PAFW staff and a diverse customer base. Ability to work under pressure, consistently providing calm and effective resolution of customer and PAFW staff concerns, requests and/or complaints in a courteous and informed manner.
 
Position Responsibilities:
Key activities of this position include but are not limited to:
  • Oversee all facets of PAFW’s website. Includes updates of current features and development of future features and new functionality, including user group targeting and mobile.
  • Manage day-to-day PAFW’s website, maintain and ensure accuracy of information.
  • Integrate new technologies for mobile marketing and interactive applications.
  • Oversee Google Analytics and Google tag manager to ensure proper tracking and analyzation of digital campaigns and website traffic.
  • Oversee all facets of PAFW’s email communications. Includes designing, building, deploying, analyzing and reporting on strategic email marketing campaigns via WordFly.
  • Combine data sources from Tessitura, WordFly and Google Analytics to provide regular reporting and data analysis.
  • Responsible for effective integrations across platforms and researching ongoing technology opportunities.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors for website, email, mobile and other applications as assigned.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies especially across the performing arts industry.
  • Assist with digital marketing support for departments across the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.

PAFW is in the business of presenting arts and entertainment. To that end, all employees understand and accept that evenings and weekends are part of our operation. This position requires interacting with the public and being onsite for performances often.
