ANB Opens up Camp Bowie Branch in Fort Worth
Ribbon-cutting included $10,000 donations to five local nonprofit organizations

FORT WORTH –Representatives of Amarillo National Bank scheduled a ribbon cutting and grand opening of the bank’s new branch location for 11:00am on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at 4501 Camp Bowie Boulevard. The new branch represents the bank’s second location in Tarrant County.

According to David Owen, Senior Vice President, the bank will use the occasion of the ribbon-cutting to present $10,000 checks to five different organizations serving the Fort Worth community. These include CASA of Tarrant County, Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County, The Center for Transforming Lives, Methodist Justice Ministry, and Opening Doors for Women in Need.

“As one of the largest family-owned banks in the nation, ANB doesn’t have to answer to outside shareholders,” says Owen. “We are a bank that gives back—a community bank with the freedom to invest in our communities. We truly value these organizations and want to help them continue to serve the people of Fort Worth.”

Founded in 1892 by Amarillo cattleman B.T. Ware, ANB is still owned and operated by the Ware family. The great-great grandchildren of the founder guide the bank today, representing a five-generation banking legacy. “The ANB family can’t wait to begin serving customers at Camp Bowie,” Owen adds. “We’re a historic bank, but we are just as excited about the future. We’re looking forward to reaching a new community with a culture built around generosity and treating people right.”

The Camp Bowie branch joins another location in downtown Fort Worth at 800 Cherry Street. ANB also has affiliated branches in Amarillo, Lubbock, Austin, Bryan/College Station, and San Antonio. To learn more, visit anb.com.
