David Self recently joined Bank of Texas as SVP, Relationship Manager for Commercial Banking. Serving small to mid-size businesses with annual sales of $5MM to $75MM, the team offers clients sophisticated financial solutions to help manage, grow and protect their business.

“David’s breadth of experience in the commercial banking market will bring additional strength to an already growing team. He has an expansive knowledge around the financial needs of our local business community and will be an asset to help continued growth of our business,” said Aaron Capps, North Texas Commercial Banking Director for Bank of Texas. “Although Fort Worth is the 12th largest city in the country, most relationships are community based and David will bring that local bank relationship to current and new clients.”

Self brings 20 years of experience in the Fort Worth commercial banking industry working at financial institutions sch as Wells Fargo, Frost Bank and most recently Origin Bank. He graduated from Indiana University from the Kelly School of Business with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. He enjoys supporting the community through volunteerism with Junior Achievement, the Tarrant Area Food Bank and the Community Enrichment Center North Richland Hills.

Self shared, “I am enjoying the opportunity to work with Bank of Texas. The culture of working together for our clients, the market and the community is what makes the position a great fit for me. The team is focused on having a direct impact on the community, and I look forward to bringing ideas on how to grow our business in the Fort Worth market.”
