Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Announces Promotion of Gilberto Atayde to Vice President of Operations
Fort Worth, TX — The Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (FWHCC) is proud to announce the promotion of Gilberto Atayde to Vice President of Operations. Atayde has served as Director of Economic Development and has played a pivotal role in advancing the Chamber’s mission to empower Hispanic and minority-owned businesses in the Fort Worth area.
With this promotion, Atayde will take on an expanded leadership role, overseeing internal operations and continuing to strengthen the Chamber’s impact across programs, partnerships, and community engagement efforts.
“I am truly humbled to step into the role of Vice President of Operations, serving an organization that’s not only deeply rooted in Fort Worth, but powered by a vibrant community of entrepreneurs, leaders, and changemakers,” said Atayde.
“I look forward to the growth we’ll foster and the lives we’ll touch as we continue to drive meaningful, lasting impact in our communities.”
Chamber leadership, board members, and community partners offered high praise for Atayde’s contributions and vision:

In his previous role, Atayde led economic development efforts with measurable success, connecting small businesses with key resources, helping secure grant funding, and launching initiatives that support entrepreneurial growth across Fort Worth.
This leadership transition marks a new chapter for FWHCC as the Chamber continues to expand its impact and foster opportunity for businesses of all sizes.
