The Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (FWHCC) is thrilled to announce that Ericka Garza has been selected as the organization’s new President and Chief Executive Officer. She will assume her new role on March 11, 2025, succeeding Anette Landeros.
“Meeting Ericka for the first time left the selection committee truly inspired. Her resume spoke volumes, but it was the undeniable energy, passion, and authenticity she brought to the table that truly took our breath away. She’s an incredible presence, both in her accomplishments and the way she connects with others.” said Mario Valdez, FWHCC Board Chairman.
A seasoned business leader with a wealth of experience in franchising, operations, business development, and driving substantial revenue growth, Garza brings a strong vision for economic empowerment, entrepreneurial success, and community impact.
Throughout her career, Garza has forged opportunities through hard work and determination, benefited from mentorship, and now dedicates herself to creating pathways for others. She deeply understands the challenges and obstacles entrepreneurs face, particularly within the Hispanic business community, and she is driven by a commitment to giving back and fostering success.

Passionate about fostering success in others, she has since devoted herself to business consulting and investing, applying insights gained from her leadership roles at YUM! Brands, Boston Pizza International, and 7-Eleven, Inc.
A passionate advocate for Latino business leaders, Garza previously served as Chairwoman of the International Franchise Association's (IFA) Hispanic Council, where she championed diversity and increased representation for Hispanic entrepreneurs in franchising. She takes great pride in creating and being part of initiatives that provide a platform for opportunities for Hispanics and has contributed to franchise education in Spanish through various initiatives, equipping Latino entrepreneurs with the knowledge and resources to succeed.
Garza's dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion has earned her numerous accolades, including being named one of the 100 Most Influential Latinas in the U.S. by Latino Leaders Magazine in 2023 and 2024. She has also been recognized with the Powerful Latina Award by Hispanic Media and the Hero Award from GNF Worldwide for her commitment to mentorship and advocacy.
A business executive graduate of Cornell University, Garza recently completed an Executive Finance Program at Harvard University, further solidifying her business finance and strategic growth expertise. Beyond her professional endeavors, Garza is a dedicated philanthropist who strongly believes in giving back to the community. Whether through mentorship, advocacy, or supporting initiatives that uplift underserved communities, she remains committed to creating opportunities and fostering success for the next generation of diverse business leaders.
“I look forward to working alongside our members and partners to drive economic growth, create lasting opportunities, and elevate our Chamber's impact. This role allows me to align my strengths with my purpose, championing entrepreneurs, fostering economic development, and ensuring that our Chamber remains a powerful force for progress. Together, we will empower the next generation of business leaders and build a stronger, more prosperous future”. Ericka Garza
In filling this vital position, the FWHCC collaborated with BridgeWork Partners. “Our experience partnering with BridgeWork Partners to find our new Chamber President and CEO was exceptional. Their support and guidance were invaluable at every stage of the process,” said Mario Valdez.
