“Vivan los Muertos” Returns to Fort Worth — A Family-Friendly Celebration of Life, Culture, and Community
Fort Worth, TX — October 2025 — Northside Community LLC invites the public to “Vivan los Muertos”, a free, family-friendly, and dog-friendly Day of the Dead celebration happening Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Northside Rooted Urban Farm in Fort Worth.
This vibrant cultural event will feature over 30 local vendors, live performances, a petting and feeding zoo, access to the farm’s pumpkin and marigold garden, and colorful altars honoring loved ones. Guests are encouraged to dress up in traditional Día de los Muertos attire or bright festive colors to fully embrace the spirit of the day.
“Vivan los Muertos” celebrates community connection and cultural pride while supporting Fort Worth’s local small businesses, artists, and makers. The event is free to attend and open to all ages — a perfect outing for families, neighbors, and friends (and their well-trained dogs).
This community-driven celebration is made possible through a collaboration between:
- Northside Community LLC — a local media and storytelling platform amplifying neighborhood voices and entrepreneurs.
- La Catrina by Multicosas — an artisan business located at Ridgmar Mall celebrating Mexican heritage through craft and culture.
- MD Party Creations — creative event designers and event space bringing life and color to North Texas celebrations.
- Northside Arts & Culture Inc. — a newly formed nonprofit creating paid pipelines for local artists in Fort Worth’s District 2.
