Northside 4th and Bidi Bidi Back to the Park will bring live Tejano and Latin music, local vendors, family activities, and fireworks to the neighborhood

FORT WORTH, Texas — Monday, June 22nd, 2026 — The Historic Northside District, a Main Street America program of the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, has announced the return of Sonidos del Summer, a free, family-friendly concert series celebrating—and helping preserve—the music, culture, and community of Fort Worth’s Northside.

Sonidos del Summer 2026 will include two community celebrations:

Northside 4th

Saturday, July 4, 2026 | 4–9 p.m.
Northside Park, located behind the Northside Community Center
Headliner: Latin Express

Northside 4th will open the series with a neighborhood block party featuring live music from Latin Express, Ballet Folklórico de Fort Worth, DJs, local food, mercado vendors, and activities for the whole family.

Bidi Bidi Back to the Park

Saturday, September 26, 2026 | 5–10 p.m.
Marine Park
Headliner: Monica Saldivar

Sonidos will return to Marine Park in September for Bidi Bidi Back to the Park, featuring a Selena tribute by Monica Saldivar at the park where Selena once performed. The evening will include Tejano music, local food and mercado vendors, community programming, and a fireworks finale.

“Sonidos del Summer is more than a concert series. It is how the Northside comes together to celebrate and preserve what makes the Northside unique,” said Dee Lara O’Neal, Main Street Project Manager for the Historic Northside District. “These events create a space where families, artists, small businesses, and neighbors of every age can gather and see themselves reflected in the heart of their community.”

Organizers anticipate welcoming approximately 5,000 neighbors and families across the two events. Both celebrations are free and open to the public.

The series returns during an important moment for Marine Park, where pavilion and lighting upgrades are planned as part of upcoming park improvements.

Sonidos del Summer is produced by the Historic Northside District and the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in partnership with neighborhood organizations, artists, businesses, and community supporters.
