About
Joseph and Anette Landeros are a husband-and-wife team who initially met through volunteerism and community involvement in Fort Worth. Their mutual desire to contribute to the enrichment of the city has been a guiding principle through their personal and professional journeys.
After spending several years working in public affairs, Joseph decided it was time to make a major career shift to fulfill his own passions and dreams. The memory of his first sip of coffee has always been a strong tie to memories of his late father, and a deep appreciation for how coffee is often tied to the rise of a new day. Anette shared the mutual love for coffee and coffee shop culture. Her passion for community building led to her own career change, which slowly caused her to see Joseph’s crazy idea of starting a business in a new light. And so, the journey began to create Casa Azul Coffee - a community coffee shop that creates a bridge to traditional Latin American coffee flavors and offerings.
Casa Azul Coffee has found its home at 300 W. Central Ave, the previous home of Fort Worth warmly remembered Sammy’s Restaurant. Joseph, Anette and their son Joaquin are honored to be able to continue the family-owned legacy of the property in the heart of the Northside of Fort Worth. As the first coffee shop located in the area, they are looking forward to honoring the neighborhood’s rich Hispanic culture and creating a space for Fort Worth to gather. -
